The Sriracha love affair doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon. If you’re one of those bonafide Sriracha fans who likes to put the fiery condiment on everything, you’ll want to mark your calendar for the first annual L.A. Sriracha Festival. The event will take place Oct. 27 from 3 to 6 p.m. at LOT 613 in downtown.

Randy Clemens, author of “The Sriracha Cookbook,†and Josh Lurie of Food GPS are co-organizing the event that will include a variety of dishes that highlight Sriracha. Sriracha desserts will also make an appearance. And to cool off those taste buds, local craft beers, cocktails and sodas will be available.

“I’ve fallen completely in love with Sriracha, not just as a condiment, but also as an ingredient,†said Clemens in a statement. “It works with all kinds of cuisines, and I can’t wait to see what all these incredible chefs do with it.â€
