When it comes to television, the best costume design is often the most invisible costume design. But that doesn’t mean there is not style to watch--on shows such as “Glee” and “Gossip Girl,” fashion is part of the plotline. While in historical dramas such as “Mad Men” and “Camelot,” clothing plays a role in creating a sense of time and place.
