Watch purveyor Westime opens West Hollywood flagship
Luxury watch retailer Westime celebrated the opening of a new flagship store in West Hollywood last week with three days of festivities.
It all began Thursday with a cocktail party sponsored by Los Angeles Confidential magazine. On Friday, Westime threw a whiskey tasting for VIP clients, including a scotch master class taught by Martin Daraz, brand ambassador for Macallan and Highland Park Scotch whiskeys. On Saturday, Haute Living magazine hosted another cocktail party featuring a display of art by Marcello Pozzi, a line-up of luxury automobiles provided by O’Gara Coach and a silent auction benefiting After School All Stars.
Westime carries more than 50 brands of watches including traditional and cutting-edge styles.
The store, at 8569 Sunset Blvd., is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Valet and self-parking are available on site.
Other openings
Affluent Goods, a website specializing in new and gently used designer fashion, jewelry, accessories and luggage, has opened a boutique in the Newport Coast Shopping Center, 21111 Newport Coast Dr., Newport Coast (between Laguna Beach and Corona del Mar). The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Sample sales
Clover Canyon is offering up to 75% off wholesale prices at its sample sale, scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at 834 S. Broadway, third floor, Los Angeles.
