The olive is now in the martini of Paris Fashion Week, with Louis Vuitton staging the last blockbuster show Wednesday morning at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in the Paris suburb Neuilly Sur Seine. Times fashion critic Booth Moore was on the scene and shares the details in her final dispatch from the City of Light. “The result,” Moore writes, “was Vuitton’s most accessible ready to wear outing ever.” [All the Rage]

Fashion industry trade paper WWD (that’s short for Women’s Wear Daily, by the way) announced Thursday that it plans to shift from a daily to a weekly publication schedule, with the final daily print edition scheduled for April 24 and the first weekly edition publishing April 29. In announcing the shift, the 105-year-old publication -- which Conde Nast sold to Penske Media Corp. last fall, cited the need “to better serve the global fashion, beauty and retail industries.” [WWD]

Los Angeles Fashion Week went small -- as in kid-sized -- on Tuesday, with a troika of runway shows at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood featuring children’s clothing. And lest you think kid-specific togs on the catwalk meant low-wattage celebrities in the front row, rapper 50 Cent was on hand to watch his son Sire model one of the looks. Our colleague Tre’vell Anderson reports. [All the Rage]
