Don’t blame me for Madonna’s fall, says cape designer Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani designed the cape that malfunctioned and led to Madonna’s spectacular fall at last week’s Brit Awards. But Armani says the cape design was not at fault -- it was supposed to close with a hook and eye, Madonna insisted on a tie and that’s why it didn’t come off when a backup dancer tugged on it. “Madonna, we all know, is very difficult,” Armani told the Associated Press.
