The Mysteries of Laura A media tycoon loses his wife in an accident, and the investigation leads Laura (Debra Messing) and her colleagues back to a case thought to have been solved long ago. 8 p.m. NBC

Arrow Oliver and Diggle (Stephen Amell, David Ramsey) are at odds with each other, and the tension impacts their efforts to stop Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and a sinister meta-human, in this new episode. 8 p.m. KTLA

The Middle Mike (Neil Flynn) withdraws so much that Frankie (Patricia Heaton) asks a clergyman (Paul Hipp) to speak with him in this new episode. Eden Sher, Atticus Shaffer and Charlie McDermott also star. 8 p.m. ABC

Nature This new two-part episode “Pets: Wild at Heart,” documents the behavior of domestic animals using the same techniques filmmakers use in the wild, including night-vision cameras, drones, mini-cameras and moving x-rays. 8 p.m. KOCE and KPBS

The Goldbergs Lainey (AJ Michalka) isn’t happy that Barry (Troy Gentile) is insecure about the two of them as a couple, so she enlists Erica (Hayley Orrantia) to help in this new episode. Wendi McLendon-Covey and Jeff Garlin also star, and Chuck Norris guest stars as himself. 8:30 p.m. ABC

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Rollins’ (Kelli Giddish) mother (Virginia Madsen) throws her a baby shower, and Deputy Chief Dodds’ (Peter Gallagher) son (Andy Karl) joins the SVU in this new episode. 9 p.m. NBC
