There are murders most foul in the true-crime series “Killer Instinct With Chris Hansen.” 7 and 10 p.m. Investigation Discovery
The touching new documentary “Tashi and the Monk” treks high into the Himalayas to visit a Tibetan Buddhist’s safe haven for orphaned and unwanted children. 8 p.m. HBO
Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Desperate immigrants seeking better lives in Switzerland take a German-language class to improve their prospects in the documentary “Neuland” on a new “POV.” 10 p.m. KOCE
TUESDAY
The new documentary “Bridging the Divide: Tom Bradley and the Politics of Race” recalls the life and times of the African American scholar-athlete turned LAPD officer turned lawyer turned five-term mayor of Los Angeles. 8 p.m. KOCE
Kevin Hart and company are back for another season of the reality-TV send-up “Real Husbands of Hollywood.” 10 p.m. BET
It’s like “Sons of Anarchy,” but for real, in the new docu-series “Outlaw Chronicles: Hells Angels.” 10 p.m. History Channel
“WAGS” are the wives and girlfriends of pro athletes, acronymically speaking, in this new reality series. 10 p.m. E!
You’re gonna get got when the hidden-camera prank show “Punk’d” returns, rebooted and retooled. 10:30 p.m. BET
WEDNESDAY
“The Mystery of Matter: Search for the Elements” looks at the stuff that stuff is made of and how said stuff was discovered in the first place. 8, 9 and 10 p.m. KOCE
Emily Osment and Jonathan Sadowski are still “Young & Hungry” on the return of this sitcom. 8:30 p.m. ABC Family

“Empire” name-drop #2: It’s Cookie versus Lucious when Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard face off, and then face off again, on the two-part season finale of “Lip Sync Battle.” 10 and 10:30 p.m. Spike TV
FRIDAY
Young people inspire each other make the world a better place, cheered on by such relative oldsters as “Ant-Man’s” Paul Rudd and “American Idol’s” Jennifer Hudson, in the new special “We Day.” 8 p.m. ABC
When in London, visit the “National Gallery.” Or save on airfare and admission and instead watch this in-depth 2014 documentary, made by Frederick Wiseman, about one of the western world’s major art museums. 9 p.m. KOCE

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are “Dumb and Dumber To” as in “also” as in this two-decades-too-late sequel to their hit 1994 comedy. 8 p.m. HBO
Cut ... it ... out: The new TV movie “The Unauthorized Full House Story” promises a slightly scandalous behind-the-scenes look at the classic 1987-95 ABC sitcom. 8 p.m. Lifetime
Patrick Stewart engages in some “Blunt Talk” in this new sitcom about a badly-behaved Brit who crosses the pond in hopes of making a big splash in the cable-news biz. 9 p.m. Starz
The hauntings will continue until morale improves on the return of “Ghost Adventures.” 9 p.m. Travel Channel
