American Experience The profile of entertainment legend Walt Disney concludes as Disney turns his company into a multimedia force in movies and television, and opens a theme park in Anaheim. 9 p.m. KOCE; KPBS
The Bastard Executioner The violence of Wilkin Brattle’s (Lee Jones) past catches up with him, and he is forced to pick up the bloodiest sword of all in this medieval drama. 10 p.m. FX
Public Morals Muldoon and Latucci (Edward Burns, Wass Stevens) treat their wives to a double date, and O’Bannon (Austin Stowell) has some fun at the expense of his partner (Brian Wiles) while arresting a couple of prostitutes. Aaron Dean Eisenberg and Elizabeth Masucci also star in this new episode of the period police drama. 10 p.m. TNT
Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris The Emmy- and Tony-winning multi-talented actor launches new a comedy-variety showcase. Reese Witherspoon takes a turn as guest announcer in the premiere. 10 p.m. NBC
Rebel Gold This new series tracks the efforts of treasure hunters convinced that a fortune in gold and silver from the Confederate treasury was hidden somewhere in the South at the end of the Civil War. 10 p.m. Discovery
