It’s out with the old and in with the new on HBO this summer.

After seven seasons, fans are saying goodbye to Sookie Stackhouse, Eric Northman and Bill Compton of “True Blood.†But first the gang bands together to fight one more supernatural power — a “hepatitis V†pandemic that’s making vampires everywhere go insane.

And don’t worry, fang fans, there may be a new supernatural thriller for you to sink your teeth into on HBO’s Sunday night lineup.

“The Leftovers†premiered Sunday, bringing fans a glimpse of what the rapture may look like. It turns out, it’s not a lot of fun.
