Jimmy Fallon gets ‘Fancy’ with Crosby, Stills and Nash
Late-night television took a “Fancy†turn Monday when Jimmy Fallon’s cover of Iggy Azalea’s hit song prompted a Crosby, Stills, Nash and “Young†reunion on “The Tonight Show.â€
First things first, Fallon’s impersonation of Neil Young is the “realest.â€
The host has donned the cowboy hat and harmonica multiple times in the past for folk-rock renditions of other pop favorites such as “Whip My Hair†and the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air†theme, and was even joined by Graham Nash and David Crosby for a performance of “Party in the U.S.A.â€
It only makes sense that Fallon would take advantage of the trio’s appearance to promote their forthcoming live box set “CSNY 1974†and tour by taking on the reigning Billboard chart-topper while in character as their elusive bandmate.
For the purists, Crosby, Stephen Stills and Nash also performed “Teach Your Children†on the show.
