Lindsay Lohan denies knowledge of half-sister on ‘GMA’
How turbulent is Lindsay Lohan’s personal life? So turbulent that even an otherwise benign morning show interview to promote her upcoming Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick†could not help but throw a new twist into the ever-evolving state of her existence off-screen.
The latest development? Lohan’s just-discovered half-sister, which was announced on the daytime talk show “The Trisha Goddard Show.â€
On Thursday, Lohan’s father, Michael, received the results of a DNA test which confirmed that he was the father of 17-year-old Ashley Horn, the result of a tryst that occurred in 1995 while Michael was separated from his then-wife Dina.
On Friday, “Good Morning America†interviewer Amy Robach couldn’t resist bringing up the half-sister midway through her discussion with Lohan.
“I didn’t even hear that, so thanks for the news,†Lohan quickly responded. “I don’t pay attention to any of it.â€
When pushed, she demurred, “I don’t really want to get into that, because I want to stay on the positive side of things.â€
Robach then moved onto other topics (Did you know Lohan and Liz Taylor went to the same rehab clinic?) and succeeded in making everyone watching squirm.
Who wants to watch the “Liz & Dick†movie now? It’s got to be less uncomfortable than “GMA.â€
