Queen & Country: This new series celebrates the reigning monarch and royal family of Great (7 p.m. KOCE).
Michael Wood’s Story of England: In the premiere of this new series the historian visits the English village of Kibworth, Leicestershire, and — with the help of locals and the use of archaeology, landscape, language and DNA — tells the history of the community’s first thousand years. A second new episode recalls the a 14th century famine and plague (8 p.m. KOCE).
Rizzoli & Isles: The new episode features Sharon Lawrence guest starring as Dr. Hope Davis, who is Maura’s (Sasha Alexander) biological mother; Jane (Angie Harmon) is looking to get the two to connect. Matthew Del Negro and Jenny O’Hara also guest star (8 and 9 p.m. TNT).
America’s Got Talent: This new episode that features performances by will.i.am and Cirque du Soleil (9 p.m. NBC).
Dance Moms: Abby counts down the best and worst dance performances of her young charges (9 p.m. Lifetime).
Chopped: This new episode celebrates Independence Day with apple pie (10 p.m. Food).
Haunted Highway: In the premiere of this new paranormal investigation series Jack Osbourne and his friend Dana Workman do their own first-person investigations into reports of a mysterious creatures living in a Utah lake (10 p.m. Syfy).
Franklin & Bash: A judge (Don McManus) asks Peter and Jared (Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Breckin Meyer) to defend him after he is arrested for having an affair with a lawyer while presiding over her cases in this new episode of the legal series (10 p.m. TNT).
Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp: Bristol and Willow join their mother on a trip to Washington (11 p.m. Lifetime). A second new episode follows at 11:30.
SPORTS
U.S. Olympic Trials: (9 a.m. NBCSP).
Baseball: The Angels visit the Cleveland Indians (4 p.m. FSN); the Cincinnati Reds visit the Dodgers (7 p.m. KCAL).
Tennis: Wimbledon: men’s quarterfinals (4 a.m. ESPN2; 5 a.m. ESPN).
Tour de France: Stage 4 (5 a.m. NBCSP).
