New Girl: When the gang attempts to juggle multiple holiday parties in one night, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) tries to avoid Sam (David Walton), Nick (Jake Johnson) tries to keep up with Angie (Olivia Munn), and Winston (Lamorne Morris) panics when he gets a cranberry stuck in his ear in this new episode (9 p.m. Fox).
Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition: Three dancers compete for a scholarship to the Joffrey School of Ballet in New York in the season finale (9 p.m. Lifetime).
Leverage: In this new episode, Ford (Timothy Hutton) and his colleagues attempt to extract payback on a corrupt vintner with a con involving a priceless bottle of wine. Christian Kane, Gina Bellman and Beth Riesgraf also star (10 p.m. TNT).
Amish Mafia: The title of this new series says it all (10:30 p.m. Discovery).
SPECIALS
A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa: When Kermit and company accidentally intercept three children’s letters to St. Nick, they vow to hand-deliver them to the North Pole themselves with a little help from their friends. Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Sirico and Madison Pettis are among their human costars in this holiday special (9 p.m. KTLA).
Chopper Live: The Revenge: Last year, Paul Jr. beat out his dad as well as Jesse James to take the title of ultimate bike builder. This year, they’re all back, with the additional challenge of “Fast N’ Loud” stars Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman (9 p.m. Discovery).

Pro basketball: The New York Knicks visit the Brooklyn Nets (4 p.m. ESPN); the Lakers visit the Cleveland Cavaliers (4 p.m. TWSN); the Clippers visit the Chicago Bulls (6:30 p.m. ESPN and FS Prime).
