Photos: 13 music festivals for ’13
The Austin, Texas festival is considered by most to be the kick-off to the music festival season. Head down to sunny Austin for a line-up full of the best of rock, folk, alt-country and hip-hop. There are too many great acts to list here but the the Flaming Lips, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and the Alabama Shakes barely start the 2013 list of amazing music available in the Texas capital in mid-March. Top-shelf comedy acts also descend on the fest as well. (A previous version of this post indicated the Beastie Boys would be performing in 2013. The Beastie Boys have previously performed at the festival but are not scheduled to play this year. We regret the error.) (Bobby Longoria/Getty Images)
