Another day, another round of Grammy performers.
After announcing Tuesday that Kanye West would take the stage at the Grammy Awards -- once on his own and again alongside Paul McCartney and Rihanna -- the Recording Academy on Wednesday revealed the latest batch of artists it’s booked to perform on Sunday’s telecast.
Beck will team with Chris Martin of Coldplay to sing a song from the former’s “Morning Phase,” nominated for album of the year. Mary J. Blige is to duet with Sam Smith, who helped write songs for her album “The London Sessions.”

Country singer Brandy Clark, up for best new artist, will perform with roots-music veteran Dwight Yoakam. And, in a rather unlikely grouping, Ed Sheeran and John Mayer are to jam with Herbie Hancock and Questlove of the Roots.
Sheeran will also perform with Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra, the academy said in a statement, while classical pianist Lang Lang will “add his musicality to one of this year’s most infectious songs.”
Sia and Juanes are to perform, as well, adding to a program that includes previously announced appearances by AC/DC, Eric Church, Ariana Grande, Miranda Lambert, Madonna and Usher, among others.
