Sylvester Stallone did not forget to thank Ryan Coogler at the Golden Globes
When Sylvester Stallone won the Golden Globe for supporting actor in a motion picture for his return as Rocky Balboa in “Creed,†it seemed there was a glaring omission in his acceptance speech.
Namely, “Creed†director Ryan Coogler as well as co-star Michael B. Jordan.
Viewers were quick to respond to the apparent omission on social media.

However, it turns out the omission was not an omission at all. While TV viewers may have missed it, Stallone did indeed thank Coogler.
Coogler himself was not among those who were upset about the almost-flub. In fact, the director was unaware of the backlash.
“No, no, no! Not at all. I don’t know what’s happening on Twitter but I love Sly. And what he said was so nice!†said Coogler when asked if he was upset that Stallone initially forgot him.
