For the second year in a row, Amy Adams won the Golden Globe for lead actress in a motion picture, comedy or musical.

Adams won for her turn as artist Margaret Keane in the Tim Burton film “Big Eyes.†The story follows Keane and her husband, Walter (Christoph Waltz), who bullies her into allowing him to take credit for her paintings while the couple earned a fortune in the late 1950s and ‘60s.

“To say that I am ill-prepared for this moment is a huge understatement,†Adams said in her acceptance speech Sunday. “I feel so fortunate to be here and so fortunate to play Margaret Keane, a woman who had such a quiet voice and such a strong heart and such a strong artistic vision.â€
