Golden Globes 2015: Let’s talk about what you saw (and didn’t see)
The 72nd Golden Globe Awards are in the history books, and now all that’s left is the talking. Join Gold Standard columnist Glenn Whipp and Times staff writer Amy Kaufman for a live chat at noon PST Monday about what we saw on the show and, more important, what we didn’t see on the telecast.
“Boyhood,†Richard Linklater’s coming-of-age drama, came out the big winner Sunday, taking the prizes for best dramatic picture, director and supporting actress. Though that was largely expected, Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel†pulled off an upset, winning the award for best picture, comedy/musical. Will the Globes have any influence come Oscar-voting time?

On the telecast, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, hosting for the third and what they maintain was the final time, poked fun at Hollywood vanity, ageism, the film “The Interview†and, perhaps most cuttingly, Bill Cosby.
Away from the podium, wedged between the closely arranged dinner tables, during commercial breaks, there was a different experience, including much talk of “Je Suis Charlie,†as Kaufman reported Sunday night.
What happened later in the evening at the parties? And is “Boyhood†now a lock for the best picture Oscar? We’ll answer these questions and any you might have. Just tweet us, using the hashtag #asklatimes. See you at noon!
