Queen Elsa has a cold.

That makes things tricky for her, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf in “Frozen Fever,†Disney’s short-film follow-up to the blockbuster animated movie “Frozen.†On Tuesday, the studio unveiled a first look at the seven-minute short via a featurette with returning directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and a clutch of photos.

In the video, which you can watch above, Buck and Lee lay out how “Frozen Fever†takes place a few months after the original film, as Elsa (Idina Menzel) and the gang are planning a birthday party for her sister, Anna (Kristen Bell).

But given Elsa’s cryokinetic powers, her illness “is complicating things,†Buck says.

Featuring a new song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who won the Oscar for best original song with “Let It Go,†the short will arrive in theaters March 13, in front of director Kenneth Branagh’s live-action “Cinderella†movie starring Lily James and Richard Madden. (Fittingly, Lee says the 1950 animated “Cinderella†was the first Disney movie she ever saw.)

Since its release in November 2013, “Frozen†has been a massive success, grossing more than $1.27 billion worldwide (making it the highest-grossing animated movie ever), winning two Academy Awards, topping the album charts with its soundtrack, and spawning all manner of spin-offs and merchandise.

Though fans have clamored for a proper sequel, no official plans for one have been announced.
