Emma Watson generously shares her ‘Perks’ on the red carpet

Emma Watson appears to be going out of her way to show us what we were missing under Hermione Granger’s Hogwarts sweater all those years.
With a couple of revealing looks on the red carpet for her upcoming flick “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” Watson has been looking quite perky indeed of late.
First she sported a nude Giorgio Armani gown that shifted to show a nipple pastie in L.A. on Monday, then she donned a sideless white Brood mini-frock that generously gave onlookers a side view of certain endowments in New York on Thursday.

And yes, she is getting the help of a stylist these days, she told Glamour recently.
“[T]hese gowns are ridiculous. You’re being photographed from every angle, so not only do you have to consider how the thing looks, but whether you’re going to be able to sit in it and whether people are going to be able to see up your skirt.”
The angle up the skirt doesn’t seem to be the problem in Watson’s case, at least not since last year, so the stylist is succeeding in one respect. Now to work on those side angles. And thank heavens for that pastie, right?
Perhaps Watson was simply showing some prescient solidarity with Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, who on Friday was caught up in her own revealing-photo scandal, thanks to a French magazine and a paparazzo’s long lens.
“I think it’s a hard deal being a royal,” she told Anderson Cooper, via Zap2It, in an interview set to air Monday. “I think that would be intense. I think Kate’s doing an awesome, awesome job of it.”
“The Perks of Being a Wallflower” opens Sept. 21.
