Nick Lachey kicked out of Chargers game, tweets his Bengals pride
Nick Lachey was kicked out of the Cincinnati Bengals-San Diego Chargers game down in San Diego on Sunday, and the new dad wasn’t shy about sharing that little dishonor with the world.
“Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn’t be prouder!” he tweeted Sunday. “Go Cincy Bengals! #whodey”
Bengals superfan Lachey continued later on the microblogging site, hinting at the reason he was reportedly escorted out of the facility: trash-talking.
“Bengals win again. i’d talk trash to everyone in SD, but what’s the point? you already had me kicked out of the stadium and you still lost.”
Monday found him a little less amped, speaking kindly about the home-field crowd, some of whom had watched security escort him out of his seat on Sunday.
“Majority of charger fans were awesome yesterday, thanks for the hospitality! Sadly, there is always one guy that ruins it for everyone.....”
And that one guy would be — whom, exactly? Never mind, we’ll assume he meant the other dude.
[Updated, 3:30 p.m. Dec. 3: Turns out it was the other dude, according to Lachey, who issued a clarification of the situation Monday afternoon on Twitter.
“For the record, i was not kicked out of the chargers game for excessive “trash talking”. no, that honor belonged to the guy in front of me!” He continued, before closing with more praise of the Chargers’ fans, some of the “nicest” around: “i simply don’t appreciate someone turning around and putting their finger in my face. call me crazy, but that deserved a reaction”]
