Taylor Swift, Conor Kennedy: Summer lovin’?
Are Taylor Swift and Robert F. Kennedy’s grandson Conor Kennedy dating?
Paparazzi photos make a compelling argument: The “Eyes Open†singer, clad in a peach sundress, strolled through the Cape Cod town of Hyannis Port, Mass., over the weekend holding hands with Kennedy, who turned 18 last week.
The pair mingled at a house party and ate at a local pizzeria, the New York Daily News reported.
“He found her a seat. It was very sweet,†a source told the paper. “She was laughing and talked with a lot of little kids.â€
To make this “Love Story†sweeter, the pair relaxed with family, including matriarch Ethel Kennedy, and attended a church service together Sunday morning. It was the 83-year-old, incidentally, who set them up in the first place, the New York Post reported.
Rumors of a new Swift love interest sparked on the Fourth of July when the 22-year-old was spotted hugging Maria Shriver’s son Patrick Schwarzenegger, another Kennedy descendant, in the same East Coast town.
But alas, Patrick was merely this romance mystery’s red herring — it was young Conor she was apparently after all along.
This has all the makings of a good T-Swift song: young love, long distance (she’s based in Nashville) and a semi-controversial age gap.
But consider this, Conor: The singer-songwriter is known to name-drop ex-boyfriends in those catchy tunes (and reportedly bashed John Mayer in “Dear Johnâ€). Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
