‘The Clock’ In the movies, the image of a ticking timepiece is a common symbol — of waking up, of quitting time, of impending doom — but in Christian Marclay’s 24-hour montage, “The Clock,” it’s the star. Culled from thousands of movies and TV shows, the film stitches together myriad images of clocks and watches while remaining perfectly in sync with the time in the real world. Federico Aubele The genre-bending Argentine singer-songwriter’s recently released fourth studio album, “Berlin 13,” draws inspiration from his time living in the German capital.
