The “Jessica Jones†tidbits keep coming.

After releasing two new teasers showing brief glimpses into the world of “Jessica Jones,†Marvel has officially revealed that S.J. Clarkson has helmed the first two episodes of the upcoming Netflix series.

Clarkson’s recent credits includes directing the pilot episode of “Dig,†an episode of “Vinyl†and an episode of Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black.†Her resume also reveals she’s neither a stranger to superheroes nor anti-heroes, having directed episodes of “Heroes†and “Dexter.â€

“Jessica Jones,†of course, is the upcoming series based on the comic book series “Alias.†Krysten Ritter plays the titular character, a former costumed superhero turned private investigator after an unexplained tragedy. Unfortunately, trying to rebuild a life away from the superhero world isn’t quite as easy as she’d probably like.

The new teasers from Netflix reveal that neither alarm clocks nor bar patrons are a match for Jessica’s super-strength. They are set in a familiar neighborhood for those who watch Marvel’s “Daredevil†-- Hell’s Kitchen in New York.

The second teaser gives us a look at what sets Jessica apart from other MCU superheroes. She drinks, she brawls and she doesn’t care about her reputation, apparently.

The series will also feature Mike Colter as Luke Cage (who will star in a series of his own), David Tennant as Kilgrave and Racheal Taylor as Trish Walker. Other cast members include Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville and Erin Moriarty.
