You can have Christmas dinner at Hogwarts
What’s more magical than Christmas spent within the walls of one of the most famous wizarding schools? Christmas spent within the walls of the most famous wizarding school without children.
This year, Hogwarts is going to make that magic happen.
The Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London has announced a one-night-only “Dinner in the Great Hall.†The itinerary for this magical evening includes a two-course meal in the Great Hall, desserts on Platform 9¾ alongside the original Hogwarts Express and butterbeer in the backlot cafe.
If food isn’t enough of an incentive (because we’re not all Ron Weasley), a wand will be waiting for you at your seat in the Great Hall. Although Harry Potter purists may be upset to discover that you can request a specific character wand instead of letting the wand choose you (information on the available wands and how to request them is on its website).

Another detail that is not quite the same as in the world of Harry Potter is that instead of dining at the familiar long house tables, guests will be seated at tables of 10. No word on whether there is a secret sorting ceremony to help organize these groups.
The remainder of the studio tour includes a look at other sets from the film including the Gryffindor common room, the Weasley kitchen at the Burrow, and Diagon Alley.
As mentioned, the evening is an 18-and-older affair, and beverages stronger than butterbeer will also be available. Dancing and these adult beverages will close out the night.
The first-ever “Dinner in the Great Hall†will take place Dec. 3 from 6 p.m. to midnight and costs $349 per person. Making this possibly the most expensive student meal of all time.
