Macklemore shares baby news with clip from 3-D ultrasound

Macklemore could be handing down his luxe wares to a baby rather than a thrift shop: The singer is expecting his first child in May.
The “Thrift Shop” and “Same Love” singer and his fiancee, Tricia Davis, announced the news on Saturday with a touching YouTube video, which aimed to shut down media speculation about the pregnancy.
“We wanted to share the news with you ourselves...Love Ben & Tricia,” he wrote on Twitter, linking off to the video.
In the clip, the couple is heard listening to the baby’s heartbeat in a doctor’s office as Davis gets a 3-D ultrasound, which offers the first glimpses of the family’s new addition. The parents-to-be affectionately hold each other and kiss in excitement.
The video fades to black and announces that the little one is expected to arrive in May.
The Grammy winner, 31, real name Ben Haggerty, popped the question to Davis -- his road manager -- in January 2013.
