Lindsay Lohan: losing no sleep over NYC arrest
For Lindsay Lohan, a nightclub outing approximate to New York’s Dream Hotel has become yet another publicity nightmare.
While parking a Porsche SUV in the wee hours Wednesday morning, Lohan allegedly struck a pedestrian, causing him to fall. After an apparent conversation between the two, Lohan allegedly left her vehicle and entered a nearby nightclub.
Exiting the club around 2:30 a.m., she was arrested by NYPD on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident.

The man in question, identified by TMZ as a chef named Jose Rodriguez, claims he was treated for torn tendons in his knee at Bellevue Hospital. He also maintained that Lohan “reeked of booze†during the incident.
The entire scenario sounds consistent with Lohan’s trouble-prone past, but Lohan has two important advantages: surveillance video and the support of the police.
For starters, there’s zero suspicion alcohol was involved in the incident. Lohan wasn’t even administered a Breathalyzer test, ABC News confirms.
Also, footage of the incident caught on security cameras reportedly prove Rodriguez’s claims are exaggerated if not entirely false.
“While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing,†Lohan’s publicist told ABC in an email.
Speaking of Shakespeare, Team Lohan, let’s discuss the importance of irony: Lohan’s mother Dina recently sat down with Dr. Phil, where she claimed that Lindsay’s rap sheet wouldn’t be nearly as long if she lived in New York.
Fleeing the scene of an accident is a misdemeanor in this case, and the allegation is still pending investigation. Any conviction, in or out of California, could violate her probation from a 2007 DUI.
“We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue,†the rep concluded.
