Lauren Conrad marries William Tell; bridesmaids wear her designs
Lauren Conrad and William Tell are now husband and wife following their Saturday wedding near the California coast.
“What a perfect way to start our lives together; surrounded by the people we love most,†the two said in a statement to Us Weekly, which was first with the news.
The former reality-TV star -- who parlayed time on “The Hills†and “Laguna Beach†into the foundation of her own lifestyle brand -- got engaged last October to Tell, 34, who earned his law degree from USC in May.
The bridesmaids, not suprisingly, wore dresses picked from a line designed by Conrad, choosing between shades of nude and rose for a ceremony that appears to have been held at a winery in Santa Ynez. (The Knot has an exhaustive roundup of wedding clues gleaned from social media posts from family and friends of the couple.)
“I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled!†the 28-year-old fashionista wrote on her blog at the time, promising lots of wedding-planning posts as she planned her own event.
Indeed, the blog presented a wedding-dress shopping primer just last week, perhaps a reflection of the bride-to-be’s mood.
Conrad and Tell, who are both from Orange County, were introduced in 2012 by mutual friends who set them up on a Valentine’s Day blind date.
