Lamar Odom speaks out, Khloe Kardashian lashes out -- about rumors and speculation
Lamar Odom spoke up about his on-hold divorce after Kobe Bryant’s final NBA game on Wednesday -- the same day a report came out saying Khloe Kardashian was “ready to move on†and was going to refile to end their marriage.
“It gets tough, especially if so much ... gets speculated,†the troubled former NBA player told “Entertainment Tonight†by way of explaining how he deals with rumors and scrutiny. “Only a few people know the truth, and I just keep that close to my heart.â€
Odom said everything between him and his estranged wife was a discussion.
“You know what I’m saying? We talk about anything. I mean, we’ve been through a lot. It won’t ever stop.†A source behind People’s story said Kardashian planned to get the divorce ball rolling again in part because she didn’t “agree with some of Lamar’s choices in the past few weeks.†Odom neither confirmed nor denied.
Then on Thursday, Kardashian lost her mind just a little bit about all the gossip.
“The amount of rumors that fly around EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!,†she tweeted. “This is not how people should ... live. Im a human being. This [is] too crazy.â€
Kardashian recently posted on her Instagram page a message that implied she was ready to move on from her relationship with Odom.
“Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself,†she wrote.
TMZ reported that the Lakers game was the first time Lamar Jr. and Destiny Odom had seen their dad since visiting him in the hospital in December. Kanye West was seated with the trio, and everybody’s tickets reportedly came straight from Bryant.
