Was it Take Jay Z to Work night? He rocks out at Beyonce’s Philly gig
Who wouldn't love to have their spouse look on with admiration and cheer them on while they're working?
Unlikely to happen at the accounting firm or the diner. But if you're Beyonce, that kind of thing actually happens. Jay Z even danced. Sang. Heck, he even helped Mrs. Carter get the job -- not that she would've had any trouble doing that on her own.
Hova donned a hoodie Saturday night and went out into the audience, undercover-style, while his wife performed in Philadelphia at the Budweiser Made in America Festival that he curates. Of course, "undercover" is relative, especially when you have a bodyguard over your shoulder. And Nick Jonas standing next to you.

Of course, with 65,000 or so people on hand for the first day of the festival, a few folks recognized the rap mogul out in the wild and posted video proof on social media. Mrs. Z was the headliner for the first of MIA's two nights, and TMZ noted that mama Tina Knowles and Destiny's Child band mate Kelly Rowland were also on hand.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer's music critic, Dan DeLuca, with Philly.com's Allie Volpe, Beyonce's greatest-hits style set was "a hyperkinetic stage show that conveyed an image of not-to-be-messed-with female strength and sexuality." Who wouldn't cheer and sing along, right?
"Run the World (Girls)," "7/11," "Ring the Alarm," "Halo," "Drunk in Love" and the Destiny's Child hit "Survivor" were all on Bey's play list, the Wrap reported.

The Struts, Vic Mensa, De La Soul, Meek Mill, and Modest Mouse preceded Queen Bey on the festival's Rocky Stage -- one of five stages -- on Saturday, filling up the 11 or so hours that dared to pass before she started her set. (The Weeknd filled the Rocky headliner spot on Sunday, and Nick Jonas had wrapped up his Liberty stage performance a few hours before watching Beyonce rock.)
Fans might remember that downtown L.A.'s Grand Park was the site of half of the festival's April 2014 incarnation, which featured a simultaneous event in Philadelphia. However, the massive undertaking didn't return to the City of Angels this year.
What, Jay, L.A. not good enough for ya?
"This is not at all a stepping back — this is a reevaluation of the model of going from one location to two to three," Budweiser VP of marketing Brian Perkins told Billboard in June. "We're a very ambitious brand, and we have a very ambitious partner in Jay Z, who also dreams big."
And definitely knows what his wife is up to at the office.
