Playing an aloof Upper East Side housewife on Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,†Jane Krakowski has worn a lot of gold. And now she’s in the running for it.

Krakowski’s portrayal of Jacqueline Voorhes, the out-of-touch pill-popping housewife who hires freed-from-a-bunker Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) as her nanny/assistant/gofer, has earned her an Emmy nomination for supporting actress in a comedy. It’s her fifth — the previous four came from her work on “30 Rock.â€

The actress will stop by the Los Angeles Times on Friday at 2:15 p.m. PDT to discuss the unique setup for a comedy, her role and her continued partnership with series creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock after boarding the show in the eleventh hour!
