TV ratings: NBC wins with ‘The Voice’ and ‘Blacklist’
NBC continues to get strong ratings Monday nights with “The Voice†and “The Blacklist.â€
“The Voice†had its last round of blind auditions Monday and won the night with 14.3 million viewers and a rating of 4.5 in the key 18-to-49 demographic, according to early numbers from Nielsen. The demo rating was down about 4% from last week.
With all the judges’ teams complete, the show moves to the first round of battles next week, after a recap of the blind auditions Tuesday.

Following the big “Voice†lead-in, “The Blacklist†was also strong. The FBI drama starring James Spader brought in an audience of 11.3 million and an 18-to-49 demo rating of 3.2, down just 3% from last week.
The new series has been picking up a lot of ground from delayed viewing via digital video recorders and video on demand. Last week’s episode increased its total viewership by about 45% in the three days after the original telecast.
NBC was the highest-rated network of the night with a 4.1. One rating point equals about 1.3 million viewers.

“Sleepy Hollow,†Fox’s new hit drama about a Revolutionary War hero who wakes up in modern upstate New York, fell 10% to a 2.7 in the key demo. The quirky Ichabod Crane series has also been getting a big lift from people watching the episodes after they air.
In the hour before “Sleepy Hollow,†“Bones†scored a 2.0, down 9% from last week.
ABC’s numbers are likely subject to change because of football broadcasts in Atlanta. Going of the preliminary figures, ABC was the second most-watched network, thanks in part to “Dancing With the Stars,†which drew more than 13 million people. Its demo rating increased slightly from last week, while “Castle†dropped 9% to a 2.0.

“Hostages,†a thriller starring Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott, slid 20% to a 1.2 and drew 5.14 million viewers.
