‘Under the Dome’ tops Monday night ratings, CBS and ABC tie
“Under the Dome†won the rating race again Monday night, attracting 11.37 million viewers, up 2% from last week.
The CBS series, based on the book by Stephen King about a small town mysteriously trapped under a transparent dome, was by far the night’s most-watched and highest-rated show, scoring a 2.8 rating in adults 18-49, according to preliminary numbers from Nielsen. A ratings point translates to roughly 1.3 million viewers.
Overall, though, CBS tied with ABC for the night. Both networks clocked in with 1.7 million average people watching and a 18-49 rating of 5.
ABC led with “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All,†at 8 p.m. The two-hour episode drew 6.5 million viewers and got a 1.9 key demographic rating, up 6% from last week, as all the guys Desiree Hartsock snubbed came on to talk through their issues.

ABC’s “Mistresses,†based on a British series of the same name, saw a big boost from last week, growing 17% in total viewers to 4.1 million in its 10 p.m. slot.
NBC News displayed a case of royal baby fever Monday night, running a full special about the new child of Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge. The 10 p.m. broadcast, “NBC News: The Little Prince,†hooked an average 3 million viewers and got a 1 rating in the 18-49 demo.
NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior†grew viewership to 5.2 million week-to-week and “Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls†increased to 3.7 million.
Fox was in all repeats Monday.
