‘Sisters’ and ‘The Bold Ones: The Protectors’ out on DVD

If none of the new fall TV series seems to catch your interest, perhaps you’ll want to check out some vintage shows making their DVD bows Tuesday.
New from Shout! Factory are the first two seasons of NBC’s acclaimed 1991-96 drama series “Sisters,” starring Swoosie Kurtz, Sela Ward, Patricia Kalember and Julianne Phillips as four diverse siblings.Ashley Judd, Paul Rudd and George Clooney also appeared on the series.
And Timeless Media Group is debuting a real rarity, “The Bold Ones: The Protectors,” one of four rotating dramas that aired from 1969-70 on NBC. The series starred Leslie Nielsen and Hari Rhodes. The disc includes the pilot movie and the series’ six episodes.
