Evacuations lifted for Thousand Oaks brush fire
Officials have lifted all evacuation orders for the Country fire in Thousand Oaks.
About 6:40 p.m. Thursday, the Ventura County Fire Department said the fire was 50% contained and holding at 28 acres. One firefighter suffered minor injuries.
Evacuations had been issued for residents on Country Valley Road, Via Colinas and Lakeview Canyon Road, as well as for Westlake High School.
Officials responded to the Country fire in the 500 block of Country Valley Road near Westlake Village about 3:20 p.m., Ventura County Fire Capt. Brian McGrath said. The fire is burning east of Westlake High School.
