Southwest, JetBlue and Virgin America fliers can watch the Super Bowl
If bad scheduling puts you on a flight during Sunday’s Super Bowl, you might still be able to catch the big game.
Travelers on Southwest Airlines, JetBlue Airlines and Virgin America will all be able to see the game live free of charge while in the air.
On Southwest, fliers can hook up with the airline’s onboard Wi-Fi to watch the game on their own devices.
On JetBlue and Virgin America, travelers can watch the game for free on seatback screens.
Plus, JetBlue fliers will be served buffalo wing-flavor pretzels and can purchase their first glass of wine, beer or cocktail for $1 starting at 3 p.m. Pacific time.
