Vince clothing line selects Hollywood for regional headquarters
Vince, a popular contemporary fashion brand based in New York, has agreed to lease a new regional headquarters office in Hollywood.
Vince will take 28,500 square feet of space at the Lab @ 900 Cahuenga, an office complex under construction at 900 N. Cahuenga Blvd., real estate broker Nicole Mihalka of JLL said.
The low-rise building erected in 1947 was formerly home to a Time Warner Cable call center. It is undergoing a multimillion-dollar makeover by architecture firm Rios Clementi Hale to make it more appealing to creative firms.
“Vince immediately shared our vision and added valuable input to the current design,†said landlord Deny Sepaher of Birch Tree Properties. The Bay Area firm owns the building with Metric Holdings Inc. of Los Angeles.
Terms of the lease were not disclosed, but the landlords are seeking about $2.95 per square foot per month, according to real estate data provider CoStar Group Inc.
The Lab @ 900 Cahuenga is south of Santa Monica Boulevard in a neighborhood that real estate brokers refer to as the Hollywood Media District.
“Hollywood continues to see interest from a wide range of companies looking to relocate including apparel, design, entertainment, new media and technology,†Mihalka of JLL said.
