Matthew Fox sells Manhattan Beach Spanish-style home
Matthew Fox can no longer be found living in Manhattan Beach. The “Lost” star has sold his house there for $1.875 million.
The Spanish-style home came on the market in March at $1.995 million. Built in 1927, it features coved ceilings, arched doorways, two corner fireplaces, decorative tile stair risers and carved stair railings. The 2,491-square-foot house contains a living room, family room, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upper-level rooms and balcony have ocean views. The lot has parking for seven cars.
Fox, 45, used the house as his residence before moving to Hawaii to shoot “Lost” (2004-10). He later relocated to Oregon. Fox will star in the thriller “Alex Cross,” due for October release, and in next year’s historical epic “Emperor.”
Public records show he bought the property in 1999 for $880,000.
Jonathan Coleman of Real Estate West was the listing agent. Colleen Code of NW Real Estate Brokers represented the buyer.
