After 15 years in wine country, Robert Redford is ready for a change of pace. The Oscar-winning actor-director has sold his scenic retreat in the Napa County city of St. Helena for $7 million.

That’s half a million shy of the price he asked last year, records show.

The property, which he bought in 2004, spans 10 tree-filled acres of gardens and hiking trails. Structures include a European-inspired country house, a detached studio, a garage/barn and a workshop.

In the main home, there are three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms across 5,255 square feet. Beamed ceilings and a dramatic stone fireplace touch up the living room, and other spaces include a family room filled with built-ins and a center-island kitchen.

Floor-to-ceiling windows take in treetop views throughout the floor plan — including the master suite, which boasts a corner fireplace and freestanding tub.

Out back, a patio with a pergola descends to a swimming pool. A cabana, fire pit and redwood hot tub round out the landscaped space.
