John Aniston of ‘Days of Our Lives’ sells Bell Canyon house
John Aniston, a mainstay of “Days of Our Lives†for decades, has sold a house in the gated equestrian community of Bell Canyon for $1.42 million.
He bought the 1988 Mediterranean-style home about a decade ago from bass guitarist John McVie of Fleetwood Mac for $1.399 million.
The 1.52-acre property affords a sense of privacy with mature trees, an expansive lawn and unobstructed city, canyon and mountain views.
Inside, a two-story entry, topped by a beamed ceiling, contains a floating-style staircase. Among living spaces in the 4,466 square feet are a formal dining room with a coffered ceiling, an entertainment room with arched windows and a family room with a wet bar and fireplace.
The master suite includes a sitting room with fireplace and a built-in entertainment center for a total of five bedrooms and five bathrooms. French doors open to a wrap-around balcony.
The grounds include waterfalls, a grotto-style swimming pool and a stone deck.
Aniston, 81, started on the daytime soap opera in the mid-1980s. He is the father of actress Jennifer Aniston.
Katherine Stark of Coldwell Banker was the listing agent. Lisa Gutman of Keller Williams represented the buyer.
