Joe Jonas snags a modern Farmhouse-style home in Sherman Oaks for $3.7 million

It looks like Joe Jonas won’t be cutting a rent check anytime soon.

After leasing a Midcentury Modern-style home earlier this year to the tune of $40,000 a month, the actor-singer of Jonas Brothers and DNCE fame has signed on the dotted line for a newly built home in the Sherman Oaks area for $3.7 million.

Built in modern Farmhouse style, the two-story home of 5,600 square feet is prime for a young entertainer. Open-plan interiors feature custom barn doors, a wet bar and a home theater. Black cabinetry, gold Waterworks fixtures and a slab marble backsplash lend a masculine look to the chef’s kitchen.

Other common areas include a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, a separate breakfast area and an office with gray-hued built-ins.

The master suite, set off by pendant lighting and a black accent wall, has a fireplace, a sitting room and a lavish walk-in closet. A steam shower done in white subway tile and a black soaking tub highlight the master bathroom.

In all, there are five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

On the main floor, telescoping walls of glass open to a raised spa and steps leading to a black-bottom swimming pool. A guesthouse with a bedroom en suite sits at the end of the pool.

The house came to market in January for $3.795 million, records show.

Robert Diaz of PLG Estates was the listing agent. Carl Gambino of Westside Estate Agency represented the buyer.

Jonas, 26, formed the pop rock group DNCE last year and has released one extended-play album, “SWAYY.� He previously fronted the band that included his brothers Nick and Kevin.

In December, he sold a Traditional-style house in Hollywood Hills West for $2.88 million.
