Onetime New York estate of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones is back on the market

Oscar-winning actors Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas sold their rural estate in Bedford, N.Y., late last year for $7.5 million and now the place is back on the market for $7.9 million.
Except for the rooms now being empty in the current listing photos, little appears to have changed at the white Colonial-style two-story, which had been renovated before the couple sold to include a larger master suite closet, a gym and an updated kitchen with an eat-at center island.
Set on 5.7 acres, the graceful 1938 brick home is surrounded by a horse farm. The grounds include gardens, mature trees and expanses of lawn.
The 6,226 square feet of living space features a traditional center hall with a staircase, a dining room with a bay window, five fireplaces, five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. There’s a partially finished basement and an attic.
