Eddie Van Halen’s former home in Beverly Hills is hot for a sale
You might as well jump at the chance to grab this Cape Cod-inspired home in Beverly Hills. Listed for sale at $2.999 million, the single-story spot was once owned by rock icon Eddie Van Halen.
Set on nearly half an acre in a gated community, the renovated home has three bedrooms and four bathrooms across 2,917 square feet of living space.
An expansive deck enjoys canyon and city-light views, and the interior features high vaulted ceilings and dark hardwood floors.
Marble tops the counters in the kitchen, and custom cabinetry lines the walls of the airy living room, which has French doors opening to the deck. A dining area and office complete the living space.
Records show Van Halen sold the property in 2008 for $1.5 million.
The 62-year-old musician formed the band Van Halen with his brother Alex in 1974, and their hits include “Jump,” “Panama” and “Hot for Teacher.” The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
Maya Hazen Manshel of John Aaroe Group holds the listing.
