Former Giants outfielder Darren Lewis seeks buyer in San Ramon

Retired Major League Baseball outfielder Darren Lewis has listed his home in San Ramon for sale at $1.329 million.
The home, built in 2005, sports a two-story floor plan with vaulted interiors, tile and hardwood flooring. The 3,826 square feet of living space includes a chef’s kitchen, a family room with a fireplace, an office, four bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The master suite features a large walk-in closet.
A large patio space includes a pool and spa and covered barbecue area.
Lewis, 46, played 13 seasons in the majors, most notably as the starting center fielder for the San Francisco Giants from 1991-1995. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Cal State East Bay Pioneers.
Records show that Lewis paid $1,265,500 for the home in October 2005. Patricia Cox of Alain Pinel Realtors is the listing agent.
