Charlie Sheen sends his Sherman Oaks mansion to market once more
It’s a new year and a new listing for Charlie Sheen’s Mediterranean mansion in Sherman Oaks.
The “Two and a Half Men†actor is now asking roughly $8.48 million for the Mulholland Estates home; it’s his fourth price cut since first listing the property last year at $10 million, records show.
In 8,932 square feet of space, the home holds seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a pair of secret spaces. A bookcase in the master suite slides to unveil a private theater with a mahogany wet bar. Upstairs, faux shelving opens to a hidden humidor.
Other highlights include a two-story foyer with a sweeping staircase, a dramatic dining room and a gym with a tanning bed. Beamed ceilings top the center-island kitchen and great room, which is anchored by a stone-mantle fireplace.
The backyard is a major draw as well. Lighted by lampposts, the landscaped space offers two swimming pools, a basketball hoop, pitcher’s mound and pavilion with an outdoor kitchen and television.
Julia Palacin Alcalde of Keller Williams Realty World Class and Mark Tyoran of Keller Williams Westlake Village hold the listing.
Sheen, 53, has a long list of film credits that include “Red Dawn,†“Wall Street,†“Major League†and “The Three Musketeers.†His sitcom work includes “Anger Management†and “Two and a Half Men,†and he won a Golden Globe for his role in “Spin City.â€
He bought the property in 2006 for $7.2 million, records show. Four years ago, he sold another Mulholland Estates home for $6.6 million.
