Los Angeles-based Green Dot Corporation announced today that it has named John Keatley as its chief financial officer. Keatley reports to President and CEO Steve Streit and is responsible for the company’s accounting, risk management, financial planning, settlement, and business analytics functions. Keatley joined Green Dot’s finance division in 2004 from McKinsey & Company, where he was a manager in the consulting firm’s financial services practice.

GolinHarris announced today the hiring of two key members in its Western Region. Sarah Ingram has been hired as senior vice president of the marketing and brand strategy practice. Ingram will play a leadership role on the Mattel account, as well as the agency’s work for the Montana Meth Project, an award-winning initiative to reduce first-time crystal methamphetamine use in the state of Montana (funded by the Tom and Stacy Siebel Foundation).
Chris Volk has been hired as vice president in the marketing and brand strategy practice. Volk will supervise the agency’s work with Nestlé USA. He has worked in several industries including beverage, travel and hospitality. Volk joined GolinHarris from Murphy O’Brien PR, where he spearheaded its food brands and restaurants practice. His past clients included See’s Candies, Morton’s Steakhouses, Marie Callender’s restaurants and Earthbound Farm organic produce.

Pasadena-based Parsons announced Steven Koger has been hired as manager of the Parsons water & infrastructure (PWI) proposal center. In this role, Koger will lead and manage the staff and processes that support the development, production, and delivery of proposals for Parsons’ water treatment and supply, wastewater, and water resources projects. Koger’s primary focus will be on proposal process compliance, staff development, and training.

Santa Monica-based DAVE Networks today announced Douglas Fulton as president of entertainment. Fulton brings extensive management and product development expertise in the broadcast industry to DAVE Networks. At DAVE Networks, Fulton will be responsible for new business and will work towards partnerships with larger entertainment firms as well as television networks and record labels. Fulton will also manage the content licensing rights, agreements and entertainment offered through the DAVE.TV social broadcast network.

Los Angeles-based marketing agency TBA Global Events has announced key executive appointments in Miami. Effective October 9, Ron Kelly was named general manager of the Miami office and Elaine Keller was appointed to the new role of senior account executive. Kelly will be responsible for supervising and guiding of all business in the South Florida market. Keller will be responsible for spearheading sales focusing on national accounts throughout the state of Florida.
