Summer in the winter at Marquee

Who said you can’t have pool parties in the winter? With a climate controlled-dome and dual heated pools, the Marquee Dayclub Dome returns this year for daytime pool parties every Saturday and select holiday Sundays from October through March. The dome, which weighs 95,000 pounds and is over 22,000 square feet, covers the entire vicinity of the Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan. Programming throughout the season is highlighted by the entertainment complex’s resident deejays, who include some of the world’s top electronic music talent.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with chocolate tastings and wine inside the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel. It’s the first tasting experience of its kind in North America, where guests will learn about the origins of chocolate and how the Ethel M Chocolate pieces on the menu were created, all while exploring the aroma, taste and texture of their decadent bites. Tastings are available every Thursday night. Admission is is $52 per person.

Bartender Andrew Yang comes to Tuscany Suites & Casino from one of Asia’s most celebrated cocktail bars, Ounce. Yang is exceptional in Asian-style bar service, which takes a creative approach to bartending styles. He was trained in Taiwan, and his movements are artfully choreographed, from stirring to straining, in order to appear effortless and elegant.

The Dynasty by Andrew Yang

2 oz. Kavalan King Car Conductor (Taiwanese single malt whisky)

¼ oz. Domaine de Canton (ginger liqueur)

½ oz. honey syrup (equal parts honey and water)

3 dashes Angostura bitters

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and then add ice. Stir. Strain into a double old-fashioned glass with a large ice sphere. Garnish with a lemon twist.
