Sorry, Gisele Bündchen fans. If you want to spend $700 on a book by the Brazilian supermodel, you’re just going to have to wait for the next one.

Bündchen’s coffee table book, “Gisele,†which features more than 300 pictures of the fashion model as well as a comically high price tag, sold out it limited-edition 1,000-book run Thursday before it even got a chance to hit bookstores, Us Weekly reports.

The model marked the success of the book with an Instagram post. “Gratitude for all the love I received from everyone at the launch of my book today,†she wrote in Portuguese and English. “Thank you for being there for me at this very special moment.â€

“Gisele†is published by Taschen, a German publisher known for its large, expensive art books. The company once released a 66-pound book by photographer Helmut Newton that sold out despite its $18,000 price. An edition of the book “Moonfire†with moon photos, Norman Mailer’s moon essay and an actual moon rock retailed for $90,500.

(For anyone with a big budget looking for holiday gifts, the publisher has a store in Los Angeles, which also sells more affordable editions of most of its titles.)

According to the Taschen website, “Gisele†is “a unique artistic presentation of the most famous Brazilian export together with Pelé and Senna and the highest-earning model in the world,†and contains “tributes from Gisele’s closest friends, family, and fashion leaders, who shed light on how and why she has become one of the greatest models of all time.â€

The success of “Gisele†puts pressure on Bündchen’s husband, controversial New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, to write a book of his own -- at, perhaps, a lower price point.
