USC women upset No. 19 Arizona State in conference opener
WOMEN
USC 60, at Arizona State 56: The Trojans overcame a nine-point deficit in the final 3:14 to beat the 19th-ranked Sun Devils in the Pacific 10 Conference opener for both teams. A layup by Briana Gilbreath, who had 16 points, gave USC (7-5) its first lead with 51.2 seconds remaining. Ashley Corral hit three free throws in the final 22.4 seconds to hold off Arizona State (8-4).
UCLA 67, at Arizona 58: The Bruins (8-4) trailed for most of the game before a decisive 12-0 run in the second half. Bruins guard Doreena Campbell scored a season-high 20 points, her fifth straight game in double digits. The Wildcats fell to 6-5.
