Indianapolis travels to Arizona for Sunday night game
Al Michaels serves as the play-by-play announcer and Cris Collinsworth provides the color commentary for tonight’s Indianapolis-at-Arizona game (5:15, Channel 4):
Michaels says ...
Had Matt Leinart panned out the way the Cardinals had hoped, by now Kurt Warner would have either been retired or backing somebody up somewhere. Instead, he’s already led them to a Super Bowl. He comes off a game in which he set an NFL record for completion percentage. It just makes Arizona a great team for people to watch. If you look at those three receivers, that’s tough to beat. I can’t think in modern times of any teams having three better guys in combination than Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston.
Collinsworth says ...
Peyton Manning, with the no-huddle offense, has mastered that craft. It’s to the point where offensive coordinator Tom Moore will tell you, “I don’t call in plays, I call in suggestions.†Whatever Peyton wants to do is right. Peyton is always right. Even when he’s wrong, he’s right. That’s how much faith they have in him as a play-caller. Watching him against Miami, it was just quarterback play at its very best.
